  Off with his head!
How many headers did Vieri miss in the last two games? I counted 6 against Sweden and, what's more in less time, almost that many against Bulgaria. Let's say 10. Half of those, were difficult, fair enough. The other half should have been at least on-target...

France seems to be already rejoicing over facing Greece rather than Portugal. As if this team isn't complacent enough already.

Comments:
Vieri has been found out, hasn't he? His form is perfectly consistent with that in the world cup. There's only so many times you can attribute his failings to bad luck.

The French underestimate the Greeks at their peril. I remember the England-Greece game of two years back (why have pundits forgotten this? Or do they just think it was an aberration?) I must say I was relieved that England were playing Portugal rather than Greece. England's performance against supposedly 'lesser' opposition has been fitful to say the most. I think the France-Greece game will be very, very close (it'll be much less close if Santini does what he should and pushes up Zizou behind Thierry and ditches Trezeguet)...
